ARFF TRAINING
ARFF Courses include Airport Rescue and Firefighter (ARFF) initial certification as well as „live fire“ refresher courses and FAA 139 “Annual Live Burns” courses.

Major topics covered are airport familiarization, aircraft familiarization, military aircraft, ARFF tactics and strategies, ARFF communications, ARFF agents and application methods, ARFF ladders, forcible entry, ventilation, salvage and overhaul, aircraft dangers, hazmat and PPE, ARFF IMS, planning, and mass casualty.
Optional course contents can include tank farm and fuel truck fires. Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, and team-focused practical exercises.

AIRPORT EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
Training and emergency exercises for organizations in airport management, preparedness, and emergency response planning.

An array of programs focusing on preparation prior to catastrophic disasters, specifically at an airport. Training begins with preparedness and coordination planning, progresses through incident response, and on to recovery. Executive programs train elected and agency officials about roles and responsibilities during disasters. Simulation software will be used to enable course participants to train their decision making skills in a realistic, scenario based environment.
Participants are immersed in a realistic environment to develop decision-making and incident management skills and experience at all TCA locations.

ARFF RECRUIT ACADEMY
The Airport Firefighter Recruit Academy offers a program of intense classroom and physical training with hands-on training held at one of our Training-Center-Alliance Facilities worldwide.

Successful candidates excel academically, demonstrate teamwork and leadership skills, establish professional behavior, and perform strenuous physical work. Upon completion, cadets are eligible to earn IFSAC Certification in Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Awareness, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF).
All courses are conducted in accordance with NFPA 470 Hazardous Materials Standards for Responders, NFPA 1001 Standard for Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications, NFPA 1021 Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications, and NFPA 1003 Standard for Airport Fire Fighter Professional Qualifications.
