Texas A & M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) ist eine staatliche Bildungsakademie, die Schulungsprogramme und technische Unterstützung für Mitarbeiter der öffentlichen Sicherheit sowohl in Texas als auch auf der ganzen Welt anbietet. Die Akademie wurde 1940 als Industrial Extension Service gegründet und nahm ihren heutigen Namen 1948 mit Beitritt zum Texas A & M University System an. TEEX betreibt das Brayton Fire Training Field. Brayton ist die größte Feuerwehrausbildungszentrum in den Vereinigten Staaten.

Pro Board, 1972 gegründet, ist eine internationale Akkreditierungsstelle für feuerwehrtechnische Lehrgänge in verschiedenen Disziplinen und Stufen auf Basis der NFPA Professional Qualification-Standards.
In Zusammenarbeit mit TEEX ist SFS eine von über 70 Agenturen, die Pro Board akkreditierte Zertifikatslehrgänge auf der ganzen Welt anbieten.

Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) is a state extension agency that offers training programs and technical assistance to public safety workers, both in Texas and around the world. Established in 1940 as the Industrial Extension Service, the agency took on its current name when it joined The Texas A&M University System in 1948. The agency sponsors the state’s primary urban search and rescue force, Urban Search and Rescue Texas Task Force 1, and operates the Brayton Fire Training Field. Brayton is the largest firefighting training facility in the United States that also contains a mock city for conducting training operations for emergency responders.
Pro Board®
Established in 1972, the Pro Board is the original fire service system for the accreditation of agencies that certify candidates to the various disciplines and levels identified in the NFPA Professional Qualification series of standards.
In collaboration with TEEX, SFS is one of over 70 agencies that offer Pro Board accredited certification courses around the world.
